Our Story

COVID-19 Response

Began during COVID-19, tackling social isolation, economic hardship, and barriers to essential services.

Cultural Events

Secured grants to host major multicultural events like Eid festivals, Ramadan Iftars, and Open Day programs in partnership with Newcastle Mosque.

Business Support

Partnered with Thrive Refugee Enterprise to launch multiple refugee-led businesses, including VIP Cleaning franchises, rideshare services, restaurants, and more.

From Crisis to Community

Dr Ashraf's vision transformed a response to COVID-19 challenges into a thriving foundation that has secured multiple government grants, launched dozens of refugee-led businesses, and brought thousands together through cultural celebrations. His leadership continues to drive innovative programs that create lasting change in the Hunter region.
